Clwb Llan:
Nurturing Brighter Futures

Since its launch in 2019 with support from Children in Need, now supported by The National Lottery's Brighter Futures program, LMI’s Clwb Llan has become a cornerstone of the community, attracting up to 250 children per year. Our children's centre is dedicated to empowering young people aged 3 to 16.

Through a partnership with St Illtyd's Primary School, we offer a vibrant range of activities designed to inspire, engage, and uplift. From sports and arts to cooking and digital skills, Clwb Llan provides opportunities for children to explore their interests, build confidence, and make friends.

We believe in the power of family, which is why we host events like family cookery and football sessions. Together, we create lasting memories and strengthen community bonds.
Clwb Llan is completely free to access and delivers a range of services all year round Including:

  • Youth clubs
  • Sporting activities
  • Creative workshops
  • Cooking sessions
  • Digital workshops
  • Music and dance activities
  • Animal encounters
  • Discovery workshops – such as circus skills and media skills
  • Children’s library
 

Fun & Enjoyable

Clwb Llan provides cultural, leisure and educational activities during weekdays and school holidays, which help raise aspiration and enable children to become more involved in their community

The family events really provide the local community with an affordable activity which is fun, enjoyable and brings people closer together.

The staff create opportunities for local children and families that might not have otherwise been possible - days trips, parties, youth clubs, arts and crafts - even the opportunity to meet different types of animals! Personally, my little boy loves going to the after school club and thoroughly enjoys all of the different activities provided.
